A press release announced that the Shenzhen Electronic Vaporizer Industry Association (SEVIA) USA brings financial support to the Right 2 Be Smoke-Free Coalition and to various organizations such as CASAA, Vaping.org for challenging the unconstitutional federal law affecting the vaping industry.

SEVIA was created on January 20, 2016, at a conference in Shenzhen China to represent e-cigarette Chinese manufacturers in the USA. Members are Innokin, Kangertech, Joyetech, Aspire and Smok. The Association invites all Chinese manufacturers that want to continue to offer their products on the market to join their initiative.

The Association supports the Cole & Bishop amendment that “is the essential first step to saving the industry by moving the predicate date from February 2007 to the effective date of the deeming regulations.”

SEVIA recalls that moving the predicate date to the effective date of the deeming regulations will:

  • keep companies alive,
  • allow every vapor company (small or large) to continue to sell their existing products without having to file costly applications and
  • keep industry alive while developing legislative strategies to save it.

SEVIA’s board’s chairman, Dimitris Agrafiotis, will be assisted in his tasks by the popular reviewer Phil Busardo.
