Design and innovation
Although the Drag X3 resembles the Drag S3 in shape and tank capacity, it stands out with several key differences. It runs on a removable 18650 or 21700 battery and is designed for direct-to-lung vaping with its 0.15 and 0.3 ohm coils. The screen is particularly well made and fully touch-sensitive for intuitive operation.

A high-quality touch screen
Like the Drag S3, the Drag X3 features a capacitive touch fire button. Touching the button instantly unlocks the device, while releasing it automatically locks it again. The touch screen eliminates the need for adjustment buttons, contributing to the sleek, lightweight look of the box.
At the back of the device, a button opens the battery compartment. Hold it down and pull the latch to release the slot, a rather original mechanism compared to the usual screw cap. Our champagne gold model offers excellent build quality, with neat stitching and a mix of textures.
Once opened, the compartment can house either a 18650 battery (with the supplied adapter) or a 21700 cell. Press the same button again to close it. When handled firmly, a slight play can be felt between the battery slot and the rest of the body, but it’s unnoticeable during normal use. Battery polarity is clearly marked on the removable cover.
The screen is one of the Drag X3’s biggest strengths. Fully in color, it displays all essential information at a glance. Entirely touch-operated, it offers a Smart Mode that automatically adjusts power according to coil resistance, an RBA Mode for manual wattage control, and an Eco Mode for energy saving.
Other functions include clock settings, screen animations, and display customization.
A magnetic 5 ml tank
The tank sits atop the box and is held in place by strong magnets. It holds 5 ml of e-liquid standard for this type of setup. Refilling is done via a side/bottom port under a silicone tab. The wide 810 drip tip is tailored for direct-lung vaping and can be swapped out if desired.
At the top, adjustable airflow slots allow precise control, from restricted DL to more open, dynamic draws, perfectly suited to the device’s power range.
Excellent flavor performance
Two coils are included in the kit:
- PnP X 0.15 ohm (60–80 W) for full direct-lung vaping
- PnP X 0.3 ohm (32–40 W) for a slightly more restricted DL experience
Flavor delivery is excellent across the board, with accurate and rich rendering. Fruity e-liquids, in particular, perform beautifully on this setup, which easily pushes beyond 50 W.
