Review: Vinci S – Voopoo

The Vinci S by Voopoo is a compact pod that requires only a few simple steps to start vaping right away. Its built-in 2000 mAh battery is generous, as is its large 4.5 ml capacity. Easy to use, it’s an efficient and reliable device.

Easy to use

The Vinci S pod follows the current trend in pod systems: obvious simplicity and a design that genuinely makes everyday vaping easier. The 2000 mAh battery life and the 4.5 ml capacity keep users far from any charging or refilling concerns. Flavour performance is equally convincing. In short, a simple but effective pod.

Comfortable battery life and XXL capacity

On one side of the Vinci S pod, a slider adjusts the airflow entering the coil. The wider the opening, the airier the draw becomes — without ever exceeding a restricted direct lung vape. Conversely, the more the airflow is closed, the tighter the draw becomes, making it suitable for a tight mouth-to-lung vape. In this configuration, vapour is warmer.

The adjustment is precise and does not move on its own, so there’s no risk of accidental changes when carrying the device in a bag or pocket.

On the opposite side, a USB-C port allows fast charging of the integrated 2000 mAh battery. It’s excellent battery life for a pod of this compact size. While the Vinci S can deliver up to 40 W, the included 0.8-ohm coil is reasonably efficient in terms of power consumption, extending usage time between charges. Vaping is possible while the device is charging.

One drawback is that the pod doesn’t come with a charging cable. It’s a small accessory that most users already have, but for a new vaper, a fully equipped and immediately rechargeable pod would offer a more complete experience.

On the front, an LED bar lights up during use and while charging. A colour code indicates the remaining battery level. It’s simple and intuitive enough for instant reading.

One cartridge is included with the Vinci S. It has a 4.5 ml capacity — remarkably generous for a pod of this size and ideal for reducing refill frequency. The 0.8-ohm coil is sealed into the tank, meaning the entire cartridge must be replaced when flavour begins to degrade.

In terms of vape quality, it’s flawless. Flavours are strong and well-defined, whether using fruity or dessert-style e-liquids. Vapour production is generous and perfectly suited for a versatile pod.

The pod is compatible with Vinci S cartridges and PnP X cartridges with replaceable coils. The range is extensive and covers the vast majority of vapers’ needs.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
