Discreet and efficient

While the market trend leans toward increasingly bulky and flashy devices boasting enormous puff counts, it is still refreshing to find a vape device that remains discreet, simple, and above all, effective. The XROS 6 follows the philosophy of previous models by focusing on essentials: quality vaping and an easy user experience, even for beginners. A product that can confidently be recommended without hesitation.

A reliable XROS series

On one side of the XROS 6, a USB-C port allows fast charging of the integrated 1800 mAh battery. It is not the largest battery in its category, but the pod remains slim, and it is difficult to imagine significantly more battery life without fundamentally altering the design. Power consumption stays fairly reasonable with the two included coils — something we will come back to later.

A firing and menu navigation button sits right beside the charging port. It barely protrudes from the device and preserves the clean visual balance of the XROS 6.

On the opposite side, there is an airflow adjustment slider. The more open the airflow, the more the coil is cooled while producing a looser inhale. In this configuration, the device favors restricted direct lung vaping. Conversely, restricting the airflow creates a tighter draw, ideal for mouth-to-lung vaping. The vapor becomes slightly warmer as well. The adjustment is smooth and stays firmly in place during transport.

On the front, the screen displays the essential information. Two quick presses open the menu. Users can choose between three power modes (Power, Normal, Eco) with coils ranging from 1.2 ohm to 0.6 ohm. With the 0.4-ohm cartridge, wattage can be adjusted manually in 0.5 W increments up to 30 W.

Classic features such as wallpaper customization, animations, and puff counters are included. A small new addition is the priming function, designed to saturate the coil’s cotton more quickly. During our tests, this feature noticeably reduced the waiting time between filling the pod and taking the first puffs.

Two included cartridges

Two cartridges come with the XROS 6:

  • a 0.6-ohm XROS cartridge for restricted direct lung vaping,
  • and a 0.8-ohm version for a tighter mouth-to-lung inhale.

The pod is also compatible with the existing 1.2, 1.0, 0.7, and 0.4-ohm cartridges. The range is extensive and covers most needs for users looking for a compact pod system.

We were slightly less convinced by the 0.4-ohm cartridge — not because of flavor quality, which remains excellent, but due to its significantly higher power consumption. With a 1800 mAh battery, several recharges may be needed to last a full day in this configuration. Cartridge capacity is 3 ml.

Flavor performance

When it comes to flavor, the XROS 6 is a success. Performance is excellent, flavors are detailed and accurate, and the cartridges remain leak-free while maintaining flavor consistency down to the last milliliter of e-liquid. The draw characteristics match the coil values perfectly.

Thanks to its wide range of compatible cartridges, the XROS 6 is a highly versatile pod system.
