Review: Vibe SE – Vaporesso

The Vibe SE pod by Vaporesso is similar to the Vibe model. Without a screen, it is remarkably simple to use. Offering both an eco mode and a higher power mode, it uses two coils to adjust the draw. It's a convenient pod for starting vaping or as a secondary device.

An even more accessible version

The Vibe SE is ultra-easy to use. Only one adjustment is needed, modulating both airflow and power simultaneously—nothing more, nothing less. The front-facing LED makes it easy to read. The 4.5 ml cartridge capacity is comfortable and generous for a device of this size. A simple and very practical pod to start vaping.

Even simpler

On one side of the Vibe SE, a slider allows, just like on the Vibe model, simultaneous adjustment of both draw and power. In Power mode, marked “PWR,” the draw is more open and the power higher. It delivers 24 W and uses both coils placed in the cartridge (0.8 and 0.6 ohm). The draw is dynamic and allows for very restricted direct-to-lung inhalation.

In Eco mode, the draw is tighter. The power is 14 W using the 0.8-ohm coil. In this mode, power consumption is reduced to preserve battery life for extended use.

Above the slider, a window theoretically allows you to check the e-liquid level in the cartridge. However, like the Vibe, this window is only present on one side. The lack of transparency makes reading the liquid level quite difficult.

On the opposite side, a USB-C port allows recharging of the built-in 1100 mAh battery. During charging, the LED on the front lights up and changes color to indicate the remaining battery level. Note that no charging cable is included in the box. Vaping is possible while the pod is charging. Vapor is produced by simple inhalation.

One cartridge is included with the Vibe SE. It houses two coils, one 0.8 ohm and the other 0.6 ohm, which operate either separately in eco mode or simultaneously in Power mode. The 4.5 ml capacity is comfortable for such a compact format.

Filling is standard: lift the silicone tab to fill the tank. The cartridge shows no leaking or seepage.

The flavors are excellent and particularly intense with fruity e-liquids.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
review-vibe-se-vaporessoThe Vibe SE is a very pleasant pod, particularly suited to new vapers looking for a simple product. The device offers two power levels by simply selecting the draw mode. Flavor performance is excellent. The absence of a charging cable and the difficult-to-read liquid window are its only real drawbacks.
