A discreet pod
The lines of the Klypse Plus are discreet. The only visible flourish is a small contrasting touch on the cap, which adds a bit of energy to the whole device. Beyond that, we find the manufacturer’s know-how: an efficient pod designed for a tight draw that delivers quality vapor.

An efficient and understated pod
The hygienic cap is a strong part of the Klypse Plus identity. It is held to the body of the pod by two powerful magnets. It simply won’t come off by itself unless there is a heavy fall. It is practical in daily use to avoid contamination of the mouthpiece, especially when on the go. It is just as useful when you want to vape without being bothered by the cap: it magnetically attaches to the bottom of the pod while you hold it.
The cartridge fits deeply into the body of the pod. This gives the system excellent stability on the battery, but we did notice one drawback in use: it becomes difficult to read the liquid level as soon as it reaches the height of the battery body, at minimum.
On one side of the Klypse Plus, there is a slider that adjusts the airflow entering the coil. The more open it is, the airier the draw becomes, without ever leaving the very restricted direct inhalation category. The vapor also becomes cooler. Conversely, the more the airflow is restricted, the tighter the draw becomes. The sensations come close to a tobacco cigarette, with warmer vapor.
On the other side, a USB-C connection allows fast charging of the built-in 1800 mAh battery. It’s not the largest battery in this category of pods, but the supplied cartridge is very reasonable in terms of power consumption. It is possible to vape while charging the device. A small LED shows the battery level during both charging and use, changing color depending on the level.
Vapor is produced simply by inhaling.
One cartridge is supplied with the pod: the Klypse 0.8-ohm V2, which runs at 16 W and holds 2 ml. A second version of this cartridge is available with a 1.2-ohm coil for use at 12 W. The Klypse Plus is compatible with all Klypse coils. The entire tank must be replaced as soon as the first signs of flavor deterioration appear.
Filling is done from the side by lifting the black silicone plug.
In terms of vaping, there are no bad surprises with the Klypse Plus. The vape is fine, precise and detailed. You get an excellent tight draw, ideal with dessert-style e-liquids. The Klypse Plus is a very good pod for starting vaping easily.
