Versatile vaping
The Zenith 2 Pro features a top airflow design. The air inlets are located at the top of the clearomizer. This choice avoids the leaking issues more commonly encountered when airflows are positioned at the bottom. The air inlets are adjustable, ranging from a small circular opening to a wide slot. When the smallest opening is selected, the draw is very tight and the vapour warm to hot. Conversely, with the widest opening, the inhale is direct. This airflow configuration makes the Zenith 2 Pro versatile, offering two vaping styles in a single device.
The clearomizer comes with two 510-format drip tips, with varying inner diameters to suit each vaping style.
The sliding top cap provides access to the fill port, which is protected by a split silicone seal. The opening area is indicated by an arrow-shaped engraving. The resistance of the sliding mechanism is excellent, making it unlikely that the clearomizer will open on its own during transport.
To change the coil, the bottom section of the clearomizer is unscrewed. The coil simply slides into its housing. Only one insertion orientation is possible, thanks to a keyed recess that locks the coil in place.
Two coils are included in the box. The 0.8 ohm Z Coil is used between 15 and 18 W for MTL vaping. The second coil is the 0.3 ohm Z Coil for vaping at 30 to 40 W.
In terms of vape performance, there are no unpleasant surprises — the Z Coil is an excellent reference from Innokin. MTL vaping delivers flavours ideally. The draw is satisfyingly tight, the aromatic spectrum is never compromised, and the flavours are fully present.
The more airy vape is equally effective. You get a wide-open draw without crossing into excessive cloud production. A slight restriction is always perceptible and intensifies the flavours.
