Review: Luxe Q3 – Vaporesso

The Luxe Q3 by Vaporesso is a small pod available in many finishes. Disarmingly simple to use, it only requires a basic airflow adjustment. With its 1450 mAh battery, it delivers up to 20 W for a controlled vape.

A well-finished pod

The Luxe Q3 is a small pod measuring less than 10 cm in height. Ultra simple to use, it requires virtually no adjustment and features a comfortable battery capacity. Its refined design and many available finishes make it attractive. Flavour quality is excellent.

The kit includes:

  • Pod
  • Cartridges
  • User manual

Compact and efficient

On one side of the device, a slider adjusts the airflow that cools the coil inside the cartridge. The greater the volume of incoming air, the airier the draw and the cooler the vapour, without ever moving beyond a restricted direct inhale. Conversely, the more the airflow openings are restricted, the tighter the draw becomes, moving towards an indirect inhale. This slider should be adjusted according to the cartridge selected.

Under the Luxe Q3, a USB-C port allows for fast charging of the pod. With its integrated 1450 mAh battery, battery life is consistent, even comfortable, considering the size of the device. The Luxe Q3 is compact and fits perfectly in the hand.

The pod is supplied without a charging cable, which is the only drawback in our view.

The Luxe Q3 has no screen. This contributes to the pod’s discreet appearance and overall design. A small metal section on the front breaks up the device’s finish. Beneath this section, small LEDs indicate the remaining battery level. They light up during inhalation or while charging.

The Luxe Q3 has no fire button. Vapour is produced only during inhalation.

Two cartridges are supplied with the Luxe Q3: the 0.6 ohm Luxe Q cartridge for direct inhaling, and the 0.8 ohm Luxe Q cartridge for a tighter inhale. They can be distinguished by their colour: orange for the 0.6 ohm cartridge and red for the 0.8 ohm cartridge.

Flavours are clearly present. The aromatic spectrum of each e-liquid is detailed and precise. Whether in restricted direct inhaling or indirect inhaling, each puff delivers the full range of expected flavours.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
review-luxe-q3-vaporessoThe Luxe Q3 is a very good small pod. It is simple to use and requires only one adjustment: airflow. With its 1450 mAh battery, it can handle long vaping sessions without difficulty. Its two cartridges offer two different experiences, in either indirect or direct inhaling. The absence of a charging cable is regrettable.
