Last year, the NexMesh clearomizer from Wotofo won over the public with a quality sub-ohm vape. Wotofo is now back with its Pro version, and some new features.

A clearomizer, but that’s not all!

The Wotofo NexMesh Pro is surprising with its many qualities both as a sub-ohm clearomizer and also as a rebuildable, thanks to a spare base, sold separately by the brand. This little box has loads of nice features, showing that the Chinese manufacturer is keen to provide its customers with innovative products. The resistance coils for this NexMesh have not been forgotten either.

A box bursting with accessories

Wotofo has made a habit of providing its buyers with boxes bursting with accessories. The NexMesh Pro is no exception to this rule, and comes with the clearomizer, a spare bubble glass, two resistance coils, a set of spares and a manual. It is basic but at the same time sufficient enough to provide a flavourful, voluptuous vape right away.

The clearomizer has a 810 drip tip sitting on a top cap that slides sideways to reveal a filling hole protected by an anti-drip rubber seal. When you slide the top cap sideways, you can also see an air vent hole through the drip tip. The system is perfectly designed, although you need to make sure your bottle nozzles are narrow for filling. Below this is the Pyrex tank and quite a stylish arched atomisation dome that shows the resistance coil. This Pyrex is very easy to change for the bubble glass version to increase the capacity from 4.5ml to 6ml. That should keep you vaping for a good while.

The bottom unscrews to easily insert the resistance coil, and good quality O-rings prevent leaks. The base also has two large air inlets promising dense, flavourful vapour.

The box also includes two resistance coils, the H12 and H15. The H12 is a single mesh 0.2ohm coil, whereas the H15 is double with one mesh side and the other a standard coil, coming in at 0.15ohm. Both these consumables look pretty massive and are designed to offer a vape full of flavour over 50W. The dual coil is bigger than the H12 and that means the tank will empty quicker.

The finishes are impeccable. Everything is machined perfectly, and slides or screws with no difficulty. Wotofo has clearly done an excellent job with this kit.

A clearomizer that can be rebuildable

Wotofo provides a second base for its NexMesh Pro, sold separately. This makes it possible to transform the clearomizer into a rebuildable via a single-coil deck that’s very easy to use. With two posts to screw the coil and two large holes to insert the cotton, this base is the essential accessory for anyone who wants to get into rebuildables.

A honeycomb air intake just under the coil gives directly onto it, guaranteeing voluminous vapour and great flavours.

Wotofo takes care of its buyers, including a Framed Staple Clapton 0.33ohm coil in the package as well as two cotton laces in addition to the base. That means the user can start vaping right away, with a good quality coil. Once again, Wotofo makes sure that its customers have what they need to get started immediately without any trouble.

A dome to screw on top completes it, isolating the resistance coil from the juice tank. This entire base is very well designed and adapts easily and effectively to the NexMesh Pro.

Technically speaking, it is flawless and the user will have no difficulty with the screw threads or the O-rings. This rebuildable base is a fantastic surprise that enables the NexMesh Pro to get close to all the sub-ohm ranges, whether reconstructible or with premade coils.

Indestructible resistance coils

One of the strong points of the NexMesh Pro is the quality of its coils. The brand offers four different ones. Two, the H12 and H15, are supplied in the box, whilst the H13 and H11 are sold separately.

The H12 is a single mesh coil stabilised at 0.2ohm. It is used between 65 to 80W and is designed to provide smooth vaping with plenty of flavour that is cooler than that of the others.

The H13 has an innovative conical design, giving even better flavours. It has the same usage range as the H12.

All-in-all, the H15 is the most surprising, with two coils in one. It’s used between 55 and 75W for a resistance of 0.15ohm. It has a mesh coil and a second wire coil. However, the dual system means that the coil is bigger and so takes up more room in the tank. This reduces the available capacity by around 1ml. The only downside to this coil is that the two types of wire don’t age the same and this might affect the taste after a while.

The last resistance in the range, the H13, invites you to voluminous, dense clouds with a usage range of 65 and 78W for 0.15ohm. Although this coil produces lots of vapour volume, it still delivers on flavour.

The whole range of NexMesh Pro coils are quality. The brand offers its users different types of vape, opening up a broad range of possibilities with these four coils and the rebuildable base, and making their clearomizer interesting for everyone. The strong point of these consumables is that they are very hard-wearing. One of the disadvantages of the sub-ohm is that the coils often wear out very quickly but Wotofo has managed to stabilise this and make them last longer. It’s a great success by the brand.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
