A changing pod
Although the Argus G4 looks like a classic pod, it stands out thanks to its innovative multi-ohm system. One cartridge for several vaping resistance values, without changing anything on the pod. It works, and it is quite surprising in use, as the system proves relevant. The Argus G4 is a pleasant surprise, a true do-it-all pod.

The versatile pod
On one side of the Argus G4, an adjustment button allows the user to navigate through the menu. Different combinations of successive presses make it possible to adjust the power and choose the resistance value. The user manual is clear enough to quickly understand the possible combinations. This button is not used to produce vapour; only inhalation performs that function.
On the opposite side, a USB-C port is used to recharge the integrated 1650 mAh battery. Battery life is consistent with the format of the device and with the cartridges supplied with the Argus G4.
On the back of the Argus G4, a slider makes it possible to adjust the airflow according to the cartridge selected and the desired draw. The more space there is for air to pass through, the more the coil inside the cartridge is cooled. The draw then becomes more airy. To obtain a tighter, indirect inhale, the slider is moved to let less air in. This part is essential on the Argus G4 and its multi-ohm cartridge system. We will come back to this.
The colour screen is simple and displays the essential information for the user: selected power, resistance value, puff counter and battery level. The power display is shown in a large size for easy reading.
Two cartridges are supplied with the Argus G4. They have the same ohmic value, but can be used in different configurations. On one side, the resistance value is indicated as 1 ohm. On the other side, the one with the brand logo, the value is 0.7 ohm. The cartridge is positioned with the selected value above the display screen to vape either at 1 ohm or at 0.7 ohm. The process is as simple as that.
As soon as the cartridge is inserted, the pod indicates a recommended operating range and suggests a vaping power. One cartridge for two styles of vape. The system goes even further, since the resistance value can be lowered to 0.4 ohm by pressing the adjustment button twice. This gives three different values with a single cartridge.
Filling is classic: simply lift the silicone plug to fill the 3.5 ml cartridge.
At 0.4 ohm, the draw is not radically more airy, but the user feels more power during inhalation, with a punchier vape. This is even more interesting when the airflow setting is not changed, as the vapour then becomes warmer, which is ideal with dessert-flavoured e-liquids.
Flavours are well rendered with all types of aromas. The Argus G4 cartridges are highly versatile and perform very well with all e-liquids.
