Simplicity and efficiency

The Pixo Aura 2 has a restrained design. Available in several solid colors or with a carbon finish, the pod remains discreet. It has no screen, but an LED indicator positioned beneath the casing. The device’s lines are pleasant and uncluttered. Activated simply by inhaling, it requires virtually no adjustment.

On one side of the pod, a USB-C port allows fast charging of the built-in 1800 mAh battery. Battery life is consistent with the device’s compact size and very low weight. It is possible to vape while charging. A light indicator with a color code shows the remaining battery level. The pod comes without a charging cable, which is disappointing.

On the other side, an adjustable slider changes the amount of air flowing over the coil and therefore modifies the draw. The more air it lets through, the airier the draw becomes, while still remaining within restricted direct lung territory. Restricting the airflow creates a noticeably tighter draw, ranging across different levels of MTL vaping. The slider has the right amount of resistance and feels neither too loose nor too stiff.

A Pixo Dual Mesh pod is supplied with the Pixo Aura 2. Its coil has a resistance of 0.6 ohm and is designed for use between 18 and 22 W. The pod holds 3 ml, which is about average for products currently available on the market. Filling is done by lifting the flexible silicone tab to reveal the fill port. The pod is compatible with most e-liquid bottle nozzles. The device is compatible with Pixo and Pixo Mesh pods up to 1.2 ohm.

When it comes to vaping performance, the Pixo Aura 2 delivers. Flavor quality is excellent. The flavor reproduction is precise and clearly defined. The Pixo Aura 2 is extremely easy to use and does exactly what is expected of it, while delivering high-quality flavor.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
review-pixo-aura-2-aspireThe Pixo Aura 2 is an easy-to-use pod that requires only a simple airflow adjustment. Its understated design makes it suitable both for users who prefer a tighter draw and those looking for more vapor production. Flavor quality is excellent. The lack of a charging cable is the only real disappointment.
