An accessible pod
On one side of the Loomix, a USB-C port provides fast charging for the built-in 1,500 mAh battery. Battery life is consistent with the size of the device and allows for long vaping sessions. Right next to it, a small button switches between Eco and Boost modes with a few successive presses. The device can be used while charging.
On the opposite side, a sliding switch adjusts the airflow for a looser or tighter draw. With the Loomix, you can vape mouth-to-lung (MTL) for a tight draw. Opening the airflow a little further turns the draw into a restricted direct lung (RDL) one. The same cartridge therefore delivers two different sensations, depending on individual preferences. The device is draw-activated.
On the front, the battery level is displayed as a percentage beneath the surface finish. It is bright enough to be read quickly and easily. A small lightning bolt icon shows that the pod is in Boost mode. It disappears in Eco mode.
The pod comes with a 3 ml Loomix cartridge. The sealed coil is rated at 0.6 ohm, for use between 16 and 19 W. Other cartridges are available in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1 and 1.2 ohm versions, covering the vast majority of vapers’ needs.
Filling is done by removing the mouthpiece. A pierced silicone seal accepts the bottle nozzle. It is a classic system that is simple to use. When it comes to flavor, the Loomix gets everything right. Whether you vape fruity, menthol or dessert e-liquids, you immediately recognize your e-liquid. The result is always precise and well detailed. The draw, meanwhile, is just right, easy to adjust and free of complexity. A pod that is easy to use day to day and that, thanks to its range of cartridges, is designed for as many vapers as possible.
