Trust Payments offers vaping and CBD businesses a simple way to get paid.
In the UK, vaping products are widely endorsed as smoking cessation and harm reduction tools. However, with regards to the covid-related lockdowns, vape shops have been deemed “non-essential” and the industry has had to adapt and transfer its business online.

In a release issued last January, the IBVTA said that some businesses had been experiencing issues with PayPal and explained some of the steps businesses could take to counteract this. The association had reassured its members that it was working to establish dialogue with the payment platform, to discuss their approach and the implications of their actions.

WorldNet Payments

Meanwhile, the IBVTA was also working to establish partnerships with alternative providers. To this effect, last month it announced a partnership with WorldNet Payments. “WorldNet are a key online payment provider working with vape companies throughout Ireland and the UK, who offer competitive rates, fast set up and excellent customer service from day one,” said the IBVTA in a recent release.

“For point of sale, WorldNet provide a wide range of pre-certified devices, compatible with multiple processors for all your POS needs, with security, reporting and all the features you should expect.”

Trust Payments

Further to this, the IBVTA has now announced a partnership with Trust Payments. The association pointed out that the payment platform offers vaping and CBD businesses a simple way to get paid.

“You will benefit from –

  • 6 months free online processing or 6 months free card machine rental
  • Simple + transparent pricing.
  • Integration into popular ecommerce platforms.
  • Easy transaction reporting and reconciliation.”
