Review: Odin Mini V2 – Vaperz Cloud

A few months ago, Vaperz Cloud, in cooperation with Dovpo and Vaping Bogan, brought us the Odin V2. As its name indicates, the Odin Mini V2, is a more compact box but still just as well made. It has all the strong points of its big brother in a pocket-sized format for vaping up to 100 W.

A logical sequel

Fashioned from billet aluminium, the Odin Mini V2 is both light and powerful thanks to a proprietary chipset that can deliver 100 W with a 21700 battery. With its comprehensive electronics, the box is perfect for those who like a powerful vape in a compact format.

Small but powerful

The top of the Odin Mini V2 has a metal plate that protects the box from scratches when screwing on the atomizer. The box takes atomizers up to 27 mm in diameter without any overhang. The 510 connector is spring-mounted.

Like every collaboration with the Youtuber Vaping Bogan, his logo appears on the box’s fire button. The fire button is firm and makes a sharp sound when pressed, leaving you in no doubt that you have fired your Odin Mini V2. It stands about 1 mm proud of the box.

Under the fire button are three buttons used to access the various menus and the settings. The top and bottom buttons are the “+” and “-” and the middle one is used to access the menus. They are supplemented by a USB-C port for updating the electronics or charging the battery. On the sides of the box are openings that act as air vents for the battery. There are plenty of them and they provide better safety in case of battery failure and contribute to the overall design of the box.

The battery compartment is accessed at the back of the box by lifting a removable cover held in place by two very strong magnets. When the battery is in place, there is absolutely no play at all in this cover. The polarity is marked by engraving inside the Odin Mini V2. A 18650 battery can be used with an adapter.

The chipset follows in the footsteps of the Odin V2 double battery box. A simple but visually comfortable display gives all the information the user needs. The colour of the display can be changed via the options menu.

The box can deliver up to 100 W and has variable wattage, variable voltage and temperature control. All the essentials are there, whatever your personal preferences may be.

The box reacts immediately and is reliable, whatever function is selected. Vaperz Cloud does not disappoint in this mini version, which performs just as well. It’s an ideal choice for vapers looking for a reasonably sized box that can take atomizers up to 27 mm in diameter.
