Convenient but with room for improvement
On one side of the Feelin AR, a USB-C connector allows recharging of the built-in 1000 mAh battery. This capacity is not the most substantial, but it is consistent with the pod’s size, which is not very thick. While 1000 mAh is sufficient for a 0.8-ohm cartridge that comes with the pod, other cartridges are compatible with the Feelin AR.
The first is 1.2 ohm for vaping at 8 to 11 W, which consumes very little electricity and is thus perfectly suited for the Feelin AR. However, there are also 0.6 and 0.4-ohm cartridges, which are much more power-hungry. We do not recommend using these cartridges unless you are prepared to recharge your device frequently.
Also, note that it is not possible to vape while the pod is charging. This is a point we regret. You must choose during recharging: either stop vaping or use another pod…
On the opposite side, a slider adjusts the airflow. It transitions from a very restricted direct draw to a tight indirect draw, depending on whether the openings that cool the cartridge’s coil are open or closed. The adjustment is precise. No disruption of the flow or draw is felt. The slider holds firmly and cannot move on its own when carried in a pocket or bag.
A cartridge is supplied with the Feelin AR. The coil is sealed inside the tank, which means the entire cartridge must be replaced at the first signs of decreased flavor quality during vaping sessions.
The 0.8-ohm cartridge allows for a very restricted direct draw. It is more suitable for indirect inhalation. The capacity is 3 ml, which is quite comfortable for this pod size. Vapor is produced by simple inhalation. There is no delay between the start of the puff and the first vapor.
Flavor restitution is excellent, especially with fruit-flavored e-liquids. The vapor remains cool even when taking consecutive puffs. The Feelin AR is a good pod, but the inability to use it while charging is a real drawback.
