Excellent Finish
There are no buttons or settings on the Argus G3 Mini. A small LED on the main face accompanies the pod’s name. It lights up during use and charging, and also indicates battery level via a color code. The pod is discreet and well-crafted. Beyond its compact format, it’s the incredibly light weight that surprises upon handling—just over 40 grams. The Argus G3 Mini is quickly forgotten whether in a pocket or a bag.
On one side, a USB-C port allows for fast charging of the built-in 1350 mAh battery. While not the largest battery, it’s appropriate for such a compact pod. It would be difficult to increase battery capacity significantly without altering the device’s size. It is possible to vape while the pod is charging.
Next to the charging port is an air inlet, mirrored on the opposite side, allowing airflow into the cartridge. Voopoo has paid particular attention to design: a finely crafted guilloché pattern (clous de Paris) inspired by watchmaking runs along the side.
A 3 ml cartridge is included with the pod. It houses a sealed 0.7-ohm coil. Refilling is standard—just lift the silicone plug to fill the tank, which accommodates most e-liquid bottle nozzles.
Vapor is produced via inhalation. While airflow cannot be adjusted, the air inlets are well-proportioned for a restricted direct draw or a dynamic mouth-to-lung experience.
No bad surprises in terms of flavor. It’s clean, with no spitback. The full flavor spectrum of each liquid comes through. Fruity e-liquids are particularly well-rendered.
