Ultra-comfortable pod
Located at the base of the Xlim Pro 2 DNA is a USB-C port, enabling fast charging of its integrated 1300 mAh battery. Battery life is consistent with the pod’s format. The assembly of its various components is flawless, with a remarkable level of finish. Our test model, crafted from genuine carbon fiber with phosphorescent inlays, exemplifies outstanding build quality.
On the side of the pod, a slider allows for airflow adjustment, which cools the cartridge coil and modulates draw. It ranges from a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw to a more dynamic restricted direct lung (RDL) inhale. The more the airflow openings are exposed, the airier the draw becomes. Adjustments are highly precise.
On the opposite side, two distinct buttons are present. One controls wattage (from 5 to 30 W), screen animation colors, pod locking, and other settings. The second, marked with a heart, primarily activates Replay mode.
This function records a puff and reproduces it identically with each subsequent inhale. Flavor is unaltered, and puff consistency is impeccable. This mode is incredibly effective and faithfully preserves the full aromatic profile of each puff. Vapor can be generated either through automatic draw or by pressing the function button.
The color display provides key information such as selected wattage, battery percentage, coil resistance, and puff count. When Replay mode is active, a colored heart icon appears on the screen.
Two cartridges are included with the device: the Xlim SS 0.6 ohm, suitable for RDL vaping at 21–25 W, and the Xlim SS 0.8 ohm for MTL vaping at 18–22 W.
The Xlim Pro 2 DNA features built-in dry hit protection. In other words, the device cuts off automatically when e-liquid levels become insufficient to saturate the coil’s wick. This is a major benefit that eliminates the worry of checking tank levels constantly.
As for flavor, it lives up to the pod’s premium finish. The Xlim Pro 2 DNA plays in the big leagues. Flavor reproduction is excellent and remains consistent thanks to the Replay feature.
