Review: Xlim Go Lite – Oxva

The Xlim Go Lite is Oxva’s new pod system. Extremely easy to use, it requires no complex settings. It is also very lightweight, making it pleasant for everyday use. With a 1000 mAh battery, it is an ideal device for getting started with vaping.

Lightweight and well-designed

While the Xlim Go Lite looks fairly classic at first glance, it stands out thanks to its featherweight design, which makes daily vaping particularly enjoyable. Aside from airflow adjustment, the pod requires no settings and delivers excellent vapour production. A simple and effective product.

A classic and efficient pod

On one side of the Xlim Go Lite, a slider adjusts the airflow cooling the coil. The more airflow allowed through, the airier the draw becomes, while still remaining within a very restricted direct lung style. The more restricted the airflow, the tighter the draw becomes for mouth-to-lung vaping. The adjustment is smooth and precise, with no looseness.

On the opposite side, a USB-C port allows fast charging of the integrated 1000 mAh battery. It’s not the largest battery in its category, but the pod is particularly compact and lightweight. Adding more battery capacity would likely compromise the overall design of the device. The pod is supplied without a charging cable, which is something we regret.

On the front, the manufacturer’s name appears at the bottom of the pod, along with a slightly raised section. This area is surrounded by an LED that indicates the battery level. It does not function as a fire button, however. Vapour is produced solely through auto-draw activation.

One cartridge is included with the pod. It is the 0.8-ohm Xlim version with a 3 ml capacity. Refilling follows Oxva’s usual design: simply lift the flexible silicone tab to access the filling port, which accommodates most e-liquid bottle tips. The pod is compatible with NexLim cartridges available in 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. A 0.4-ohm Xlim version also exists, but considering the 1000 mAh battery, it is not the most suitable option.

As for flavour, there are no unpleasant surprises with this little pod. Vapour is produced instantly upon inhalation. Flavours are strong and vapour production remains well controlled. A small and simple pod that performs very well.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
review-xlim-go-lite-oxvaThe Xlim Go Lite pod by Oxva is a small, lightweight and very pleasant device to use. Without unnecessary complexity, it is easy for beginners to understand while also serving as an excellent backup device for more experienced vapers. Flavour performance is excellent. The absence of a charging cable remains the main drawback.
